Institute of Coding Badge Validation

This site hosts the public validation JSON data for the final version of the IoC Badges re-issued to students prior to the Open University's Institute of Coding (IoC) Badging platform being retired. To validate those final IoC badges issued through the Open University's former IoC Badging platform, please use the IMS Global Open Badges 2.0 Validator.

Please Note: IMS Global badge validation will only work for the re-issued instances of IoC badges emailed to recipients in December 2025. All earlier badges issued from the Open University's IoC Badging platform will no longer be verifiable.
